Navigating the Social Media Landscape

This hands-on workshop is aimed at those who have little experience with social media and who would like an understanding of what social media is, the growing role of social media in the business world and how to build a social media presence.

Content

The workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and skills they need to:

  • Understand what social media means and its role within an organization
  • Determine the impact of time, people and governance on social media
  • Set a social media strategy, policy and framework against which to manage

Applicable For

Those who are interested in the role that social media can play in business, those responsible for establishing a social media presence, and those responsible for monitoring social media activities within their organization. This session is intended for those with limited experience with social media but are nevertheless tasked with some social media responsibilities.

 What to Expect

This is a Live Virtual Seminar where class size has been limited to allow for an interactive learning environment. This seminar will not be recorded.

  • You are encouraged to join the seminar 10 minutes before the start time to ensure you are ready when it begins. For the best experience, it is recommended that you use a computer or tablet that has a microphone, video capabilities and is large enough to view the presentation.
